I am a Postdoctoral Visiting Scholar at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), in the Departments of Research and Institutions for Development. I earned my Ph.D. in Economics (U Erlangen-Nuremberg, joint program with LMU Munich) after an M.Sc. in Cognitive & Decision Sciences (University College London) and a B.A. in International Relations (TU Dresden). I evaluate impacts of policies and analyze behavior, e.g. in public finance, labor markets, or health. I use experimental and quasi-experimental designs, machine learning, and qualitative methods. Regionally, I have worked in Latin America, North America, the Middle East, and Europe. See CV and Research sections for more detail. Contact me here: [email protected] |
